Why B. D. Architecture ?
Boschen Design, Architecture is a general-practice architectural firm engaged primarily in residential and commercial renovation projects in the Northeastern United States.The firm also has extensive experience with New York City's Department of Buildings, the Landmarks Preservation Commission and with other agencies from which approvals must be obtained, both within and outside of New York City.

Unlike many firms based in New York City, Boschen Design does most of its own code consulting work in-house, giving it a far more intimate knowledge of the codes and approval procedures than it could have by using outside code consultants or "expediters". The firm has also brought many projects before the Landmarks Preservation Commission, including projects for which public hearings were required.
How We Start?
After talking a little bit about the project you'll potentially hire us for Someone will come to take a look at your property and see if your ideas are feasible, what the possibilities might be, whether filings are required, etc.
While we're learning about the project we'll also be talking about how we'll be working together.
How We Work?
Each project is unique, and each client is equally unique. Some people need help with the whole process; others are quite comfortable handling some of the work on their own with us in the background as advisers. Designing isn’t a one-size-fits-all process and each project’s situation and needs are different.
We break the design process down into manageable chunks by organizing it into Phases, starting with the basic concept, adding detail, and moving on through approvals, selecting a contractor, construction and sign-offs and moving in. Each project has different details, but the process is similar whether the project is big or small.
