Richard Boschen
Principal
Richard Boschen has Architecture degrees from M.I.T. and the University of California at Berkeley and has been registered to practice Architecture in New York State since 1984.
​His experience includes work in large, medium-sized architectural firms on a range of commercial, residential, industrial and institutional projects (These included a new city for 80,000 residents; a V.A. hospital and multi-family housing).
​
​Additional experience includes 2 years as a research scientist at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory's Energy Group and 2 years as a General Contractor.
​Mr. Boschen has been in practice in New York City since 1987. Past clients have included private individuals, residential developers, corporations and governmental agencies.
​
​The firm's commercial and residential projects have provided it with experience in a broad range of building types: single family homes; high-rise commercial and residential buildings, urban row-houses, converted warehouses, schools and loft buildings. The firm also has experience in buildings of nearly every age, from new construction to 18th century restoration.

B.A. from UC Santa Cruz and a M. Arch from UC Berkeley. She has extensive experience doing interior architecture and has been practicing since 1988.
Valentina Morgante

Architectural degree equivalent to an M. Arch from Plitecnico di Milano in Mantova, Italy. She has been working in NY since 2015, primarily in residential renovation work.
​
Masters of Architecture from KU Leuven in Brussels, BE; Bachelors from the Technical University of
Cluj-Napoca in Romania. She has worked for architecture firms in Romania and Belgium and joined Boschen Design in 2018.
